Welcome to the Gethsemane Books. We are a small Christian
book stall located at Birchwood Community Church, Spencer House, Warrington.
On this site you will find a selection of some of the books,
gifts and music we stock.The books and music are constantly being updated. There will always be more available than
we can actually show on this website. So why not come along to one of the Sunday services, which start at 10:45am. A warm
welcome awaits you, and after the service you can browse the book stall at your leisure as well as having a cup of coffee
with us.
In 2009, during the morning service, a series
of sermons will examine the Gospel of John, asking the question; did Jesus really say... It will consider how,
through what he said, we as a believing community can know Jesus better.
If you are looking for a book to compliment
the series, the following two books may fit the criteria;
J.John's "The Life" encompasses Jesus' life from birth to
death and resurrection. J.John's easy writing style makes this a very easy read, while being spiritually fullfilling.
Charles Swindoll's study on the life of Jesus is available
in two editions. One is a hardback reading edition, and the other is a paperback study edition. The paperback version contains
further scriptural study & provision for answeriing questions about what you have learned.
